So, since we just got a new car we’re gifting this one to my w ife’s cousin because he needs something for college. I couldn’t just let him drive around in a plain white Prius, so I pimped it a lil.

I also added a powered sub in the back...

Y’know LED RGB kits are so cheap now we should all be living our best life one quarter mile at a time and doing this! Underglow all the things.

Bonus points if you set it up so it only turns on while the car is in drive and he can’t disable it...

Seriously, the kit was $35 and has 16 million colors. It also uses your phone’s microphone to sync your colors to the music in your car.

Yeah, I put mine one a few days before going to the Tail of the Dragon. We rented a house on a long gravel driveway. They worked after the trip, then I drove in heavy rain a few weeks ago and they died. Need to remove em still.

If these fail I would just use wire cutters and rip them out. He’s gonna have this car up in upstate New York. I’d be suprised if they lasted the winter.

Not really. I added a few to thread some zip ties in the front undertray. The sides are held in with little screws and rubber straps. I used about a pound of zip ties.

The lights themselves have some 3M tape on the back, but I wouldn’t trust it for very far on its own.
